Decorative Pebbles Wholesale Supplier for Import Buyers

Wholesale buying is a different exercise to buying a one-off load. You are planning stock turns, margin per bag and a reorder cycle. This page sets out the commercial mechanics — order tiers, what moves the price, and how repeat supply is handled — rather than product descriptions, which live on the product pages.

Order tiers and minimum quantities

The practical minimum for sea freight is a full container, because part-container stone rarely survives the cost comparison against a competitor buying a full load. Within a container, however, you are not limited to one product — most wholesale buyers consolidate several grades so they can test which lines turn fastest.

Per product, a workable minimum inside a mixed container is usually a few tonnes; below that, sorting and packing setup starts to dominate the cost of that line.

What actually moves the wholesale price

Buyers often ask for a price list and are surprised there is not one. The reason is that the same stone can differ by a wide margin depending on five variables: size band tightness, colour purity, finish, packing format and Incoterm. A loose-loaded natural grade and a hand-sorted polished grade in printed retail bags are different products commercially even when the stone is from the same source.

We quote against your specification so the number you receive is one you can actually build a retail price on, rather than a headline figure that changes once packing is discussed.

Repeat orders and consistency

For distributors, consistency across shipments matters more than the first shipment being perfect. We retain your approved sample and sort subsequent orders against it. Where you run a seasonal cycle, tell us the reorder interval so material can be reserved ahead of your peak instead of sourced during it.

Payment and commercial terms

Standard terms are an advance against order confirmation with the balance settled against shipping documents; letters of credit are workable for larger repeat buyers. Terms are agreed in writing before production begins, and we will not start sorting against an unconfirmed specification.

Questions buyers ask

Do you publish a wholesale price list?
No. Pricing depends on grade, packing, quantity and Incoterm, so a list would mislead more than it helps. Send a specification and you will get a figure you can plan a margin against.
Can one container hold several different pebble grades?
Yes, and most first orders do. Each grade is packed and marked separately so it can be received and stocked without re-sorting.
What is the minimum quantity per product inside a mixed container?
Usually a few tonnes per line. Below that, the sorting and packing setup cost per tonne climbs sharply.
Do you offer better terms on repeat orders?
Repeat and scheduled buyers get planning priority and material reserved ahead of their peak season, which in practice matters more than a marginal per-tonne difference.
