Pink Marble Chips and Rose Marble Gravel

Pink marble chip is a steady seller in warm-climate markets where white stone glares and grey looks cold. The tone runs from pale rose to a deeper salmon depending on the block, so the important part of the specification is the acceptable spread, not the colour word.

  • Natural rose to salmon tones held to an agreed sample
  • Washed and screened, low fines in bagged material
  • Blends well with terracotta, sandstone and buff paving
  • Bulk, jumbo bag or retail bag packing

Agreeing the tonal spread first

Pink is the marble colour most likely to trigger a claim, because two loads can both be honestly described as pink and still look different on a yard. We fix a physical reference sample with a light and a dark limit before production and sort against it, so a repeat order blends with the stock already on the ground.

Where pink outperforms white

In hot markets white stone reflects hard light and shows every leaf and dust mark. Pink carries the same brightness at lower glare and hides surface dust far better, which is why Gulf, North African and southern European buyers reorder it more consistently than they expect to.

Sizes and end uses

6-10 mm suits terrazzo, precast and pot topping. 10-20 mm is the retail and border volume line. 20-40 mm carries across larger beds and driveway edges where finer chip would scatter.

Finish options

Standard supply is a natural crushed chip with an angular face. Tumbled pink marble, with the edges knocked off, is available where a softer look is wanted for pot topping or interior use — tell us at enquiry stage as it is a separate process run.

Questions buyers ask about pink marble chips

How consistent is the pink tone between containers?
Consistent within the agreed sample limits. Natural stone varies, so we sort to a light-and-dark reference rather than promising an identical match.
Is the colour dyed?
No. It is the natural mineral colour of the marble. We do not supply dyed stone.
Can pink marble chips be used indoors?
Yes, commonly for planters, terrazzo and decorative fill. Ask for the tumbled finish if the stone will be handled.
What packing do garden centres usually take?
20-25 kg printed poly bags on shrink-wrapped pallets, around 1,000-1,250 bags per 20 ft container.
Do you send samples before an order?
Yes, a physical sample set or current-batch photographs before the container is booked.
Can pink be mixed with other colours in one container?
Yes. Mixed containers are the normal way to trial a new colour alongside your existing lines.
