Natural buff stone varies from pale straw to deeper amber, and that variation is what makes it look natural. We sort to a tonal range rather than a single shade and photograph each batch so buyers know exactly what will land.

Angular versus rounded golden gravel

Angular buff chippings lock on driveways and slopes. Rounded golden pebbles suit beds and pots. Merchants normally stock the angular grade for trade and the rounded grade for retail.

Sizes and where they sell

10–20 mm is the volume seller for drives and paths. 6–10 mm suits fine paths and pot topping. 20–40 mm covers large areas economically and reads more rustic.

Coverage and depth

At 50 mm on a driveway, one tonne covers roughly 10–12 square metres. At 30–40 mm on garden beds, one tonne stretches to 14–16 square metres.
